2012 Season - Week 22

It was John of the Ravens who stood on the winner’s podium after Baltimore saw a 22 point lead disappear in the flash of a stadium light in the third quarter. After the 34 minute technical delay (with Baltimore up 28-6) Jim’s 49ers scored 17 unanswered points in a four minute span to go into the fourth quarter trailing by just five. But when Kaepernick’s pass to Crabtree fell incomplete on fourth down from the Baltimore five yard line Baltimore secured their second Lombardi trophy. Jim is still convinced it was pass interference. BUMSBowl XVII After falling behind to Craig 14 -3 early in the second quarter Andy H fought back behind two Jacoby Jones TDs to win his first BUMSBowl 44-31. For both it was their first visit to the BUMSBowl and H now has an 11-16 play-off record while Craig falls to 5-4. Supergames & Superfood It was a good evening for H as he also scooped the most money in our games after tying with Marcus with the best Superbowl team, predicting 3 of the 4 quarter leaders (along with Chief and Johnnie) and being closest to the final score with his Baltimore 31-28 prediction.
